    Wheel performance benefits?

So I'm curious about wheel spacers. I really like the look, and I'm looking at a reasonably priced used set on ebay. An obvious con is that 1' wheel spacers are probably really heavy, but is handling improved? by how much?

    1 ft spacers?

Even 1" spacers are too much IMO.. Don't do it. Just get wider/proper fitting wheels if you're into that "flush" look.

Spacers aren't a handeling upgrade. They are used to move the position of the wheel in the wheel well, nothing more. They also carry their weight very close to the hub so you probably won't notice any change at all.
Drive it hard. Maintain it well.

They are according to ChumpCar. ;) 5 points each; a 2 lap penalty for putting them at all four corners.
