    Wheel Size and LM-Rs!!?

Hey guys, maybe getting ahead of myself a bit here as wheels and tires are a couple grand away, but I want to start a discussion on two topics.

First, are BBS LM-Rs too modern looking for an E30? I ask because I don't think I've ever seen anyone rocking them but I just want something other than the classic RS style. Not hating, love the wheel and love the look on the E30, just want something different and I love an LM-R by itself. If you have them please post pics!!

Secondly, probably the most common argument on E30 wheel fitment.. Are 17s really too big? I want a somewhat meaty flush setup but nothing crazy, definitely no crazy camber. I've seen some good looking E30s with 17s but 16s seem to be the most popular way to go. Please post what you have and why! Looking for around 350 to the wheels thinking 17x9 or 16x9 for a 215. Convince me 😎

you should do it. I find rs's extremely formulaic and uninspired. 17 are fine as long as you stick to a 205/40 or 215/40 the od gets to big if you go wider.

LMs look good in some E30s, but i'd say the lip of the wheel is what really makes it or breaks it.

LMs with a decent lip looks great, little lip ruins it.

The reasons you don't see e30's on LM-R's is because there are maybe 3 e30 owners out there looking to spend 8k on a set of wheels, and none of those people want 19's or 20's.

          Two things:

I had no clue those wheels were that expensive, and I had no clue they only come in 19s or 20s.

Definitely will not be buying haha I want 17s at the largest. Guess I'll keep looking for something classy yet original. Don't want my baby to be "just another E30" :D
