    Powdercoating Wheels?

I am debating on wether I should get my wheels powdercoated or just clear coated. Any suggestions? Also any reccomendations in the Seattle PNW area?

    Thanks

Some people have brought up possible problems with powdercoating cast wheels (I dont know what your wheels are, just saying in general). The question arrives with the possibility of compromising the strength of the metal with the heat from the powdercoating oven.

I personally havent heard any first hand experience with this, just a problem.

If you want to change colors, powdercoating is a really good way. If you just want to restore the factory finish, just have them repainted/recleared.

Thanks for the help. I have decided against powdercoating as I want a sure match with the new center caps and then re conditioning the wheels. (Hartge Design A, 16x7.5)
          Thanks
