    Euroweave Tire Choice

    Hi guys,

Just got word that my euroweaves are done being refinished and will be on the way to me shortly. I will be picking up my new e30 this weekend and would like to get these things mounted ASAP. It's a 91 318is that is pretty much bone stock. I'm planning on running billy sports and h&r race springs in the near future. Only thing is I can't make up my mind on tie size! I've searched and read numerous threads so far and there are two answers that pop up frequently: 205/50r15 and 225/45r15. I don't want to roll fenders and 50% of the threads stated that no roll was required on euroweaves with the 225. I could go 205 but almost everyone said they wished the had gone wider. Will BFG rivals in 225 clear with no rolling or will I have to run 205's to not roll fenders?

Thanks in advance for your help!

The sizes you're talking about are both undersized. You want either 205/55-15 or 225/50-15.
If your reasoning was tire selection, that may be a different story...
A 205 is plenty of tire for an m42 imo.
    Nice wheels!

I went with Dunlop DZ102 from Tirerack in the 205/55/15 size for my 318is. It is a summer V rated tire.

I realize 205 is enough for a stock 318is, should have mentioned that boost will be coming sooner than later.

Tak7: I am concerned about tire selection, any reason not to go slightly undersized? Would also give a tiny bit more clearance as well?

I have yokohama s-drive 205/55-15 on euroweave with offset control arm bushing paired with koni / hr race and ran into this. I think regular bushing might have cleared.

Yep, that's what I'm trying to avoid. Wondering if I should just rent the tool to roll the fenders.....don't want to end up with cracked paint or screwed up fenders.
