You cannot do the complete 5 lug swap with E28 parts......the easiest route is using E30 M3 struts, hubs, etc and it's a direct fit. You can usually find someone parting out the M3 suspension and it typically costs around US$800-1100 for all the needed parts.
Dave Adams did a great write up on his swap so check out the below for a parts list, etc............ http://www.davelength.net/car/5lug.html
Great looking wheels.....best of luck!!!

I have Tstars on the e28 and they are 17x8 and 17x9 rear, I dont think they made any in 17x7.5. Without the covers on they look AMAZING and the lip is ~3" in the rear. Mine are et22 in the rear (17x9)
EDIT: The offset will be printed on the wheel when you take the covers off. It will say ET2 and then the second digit will be stamped on after it, its very hard to see- '88 m54 coupe

Yes, I know the easist way is the E30 M3 parts, like I said I don't have many places to look(almost no place to look for) those especific parts, I will see the e28 parts if I can start from it and try to modify if is needed , jut want to have the parts in my hand to see what can I do...
The oder idea that I have, not sure and didn't confirm if is possibles, is fill the holes and make 5 new ones in the hub, not sure if there is enough space to make 5 holes, need to see it.
Then I have to see if I cjange the hubs form other with a bit of machine shopp work or so...and if I do this or i spossible, then I have to look for the brake discs, wich to put and wich calipers.
I won't do the route of the E30 M3 parts, simple cuz I won't spend all that money and less $500 for just droping the wheels in my bimmer. I have to find the way to make them work in the cheapest way.
I did my rear drumb to disc conversion in my Jeep cherokee, filling some holes, welding and adapting, I will try to apply all my knowledge and patient to do this , we will see what happens in the next weeks.
I just want to know, if somebudy can really confirm me if some e28 parts could help me to do the swapp...not just wondering... :PEuro M3'87 NogaroSilver/Euro E34 M5 '93/Porsche 993 TT 97' Euro/Porsche 993 Carrera 95' Euro/Skyline R33 GT-R

Don't fill the holes and try and have them rebored for a 4x100 you'll just fuck the wheels. Not worth it to destroy a nice quality wheel to save a few dollars.Originally posted by diegom6

Break out the etka disc and start doing some research. There are plenty of people who have done the 5 bolt conversion, try a google search.Comment

Looks like I have resolved the problem for the rear...I will use hubs and bearing from the E36 or Z3, it almost fit normally and will not affect (apparently) the offset.
What I was thinking and a dude told me, was about using the E36 McPherson or strut and hubs from the E36 too for the front, but if I use them the offset will be another, someone could confirm me this?
