Cannot get the bolts off one of my wheels!!??

I took my car to a tire shop the other day and they could not get a set of bolts off one of my wheels. WTF? Can anyone tell me what this might be and what I can do without stripping the bolt? Thanks

If the bolts are so tight/rusted that they won't open use the follwing method:
Hit each bolt head 2-3 times with a hammer hard, if they are too deep put a socket with an extention on the bolt head and hit the extension. that should loose them enough to open with an impact wrench or a socket on a long breaker bar.

cool, thanks. you would think that the guy at the tire shop would have known to try that..... maybe they just didn't want a part in something they could brake or whatever.

Well, I learned it myself from an old guy at a tire shop. By the way it works for freeing all kinds of siezed bolts, although smaller bolts shouldn't be hit as hard as wheel bolts of course.
