    Tire size!!

I am planning on getting some 16x8 et20 wheels for the my s50 swapped e30. My suspension set up is H&R races, billy sports, new sways front and back, sway reinforcements, vorshlag plates, and condor poly bushings all around. So I was wondering what is the largest tire I can realistically use. This car is a "daily driver" I'm 17 and I drive it to work and to school lol. Are 244/45-16's out of the question? Willing to roll fenders for sure. Or is 225/45-16 more realistic?bplease help!! Thanks

225/45 will be plenty enough and easier to fit than 245/45. Also 245/45 will be a very large (diameter) compared to stock.

225/45/16 will be a very nice fit. A 245/45 will have fender clearance issues and be way too tall for the car.

Just chiming in on running 225/45's. They are a good fit for your setup. I dd mine as well (about 100 miles a day) with a similar setup as yours with 16's on 225/45's with no complaints.

The new plan is to flare the car and run 17s. What diameter is too large? Is 25" tire too big?? Thinking 255/40/17 with KAmotors ultrawide flares

245/40 r17 would be a great choice for an s50. With the right wheel choice, no huge flares, just lots of rolling and pulling.

255/40 and even 245/40 are pretty tall for an E30.

I'd just run a nice 235/40 tire without flares personally.
