    Prepping wheels - Wheel Wax?

I got my new 15" BBS RZ's. I want these things to stay nice for a long time to come.

Therefore, I'm wondering what you all reccommend for wax on the wheels - something to protect them.

I'll be cleaning them REALLY well tomorrow, then I want to top it off with some wax, and maybe more (I dunno, what else is there?)

    Thanks! 8)

black spray paint keeps my wheels looking fresh, just a thought.

if you're really anal, just use regular car wax, but damn what a pain in the ass it would be to wax basketweaves

Yeah, but it's easier to clean in the future then. 8)

Just like any painted and clearcoated surface, waxing is a good idea. I just use whatever I'm using on the body, at the same time. Just keeping them clean of brake dust is the best thing you can do for em though

Get yourself a few different size wheel brushes, you're going to need 'em.

I just put some Zymol on the lips. Just driving around in the wheels for about 10 miles, brake dust started to collect on teh front...

                  Damn...

BUT, shit, do they look hot.... 8)

Yeah, I'll keep them clean all the time, that's for sure.

                      I don't have my camera. I will once I get it. I promise! :D

I will have to admit, however, they are a bit undersized, but still badass nonetheless. ;)

I used it once instead of wax, worked great.

It also makes great windshield cleaner, works like rain-X.

                          An incredible salad dressing too.

Plain jane wax, turtle wax is cheap. You are mainly trying to protect them from brake dust and solvents.

                            Wax on-Wax off, really simple.
