Comparison - Hartge vs. Hartge Style Wheels

My E30 currently has 5x120, 16" BBS wheels. I purchased the car a few months ago and am currently looking for a Hartge set. Pretty difficult!

I want to go with a smaller, 15" size but having trouble finding a 5x120 configuration. I saw these copies on the net but they just look different than the original.

Any comments or photographs to compare?

That's because they're shitty replicas made by a shitty guy.

Hartge made the classics in 5x120, they were made for early 80's 5 series, you can still see them pop up from time to time. They only came in monoblocks though, never 3 piece like the ones pictured.

The red e30 you posted are 1pc copies of Hartge wheels. Hartge did make 1pc 15x7 5x120. They do come up for sale.

Here is a pic of 16" 3pc Hartge wheel.

Yeah I would like a 15" but have never seen it online. I'm okay with a replica if it's 90% accurate but those just don't look right

I think the Alpina copies are much better

Hartge stuff comes at a price and it's much easier just to buy modern stuff. I just really love that old school look though
