    New Tire Suggestions

looking for new tires - 215/40/17

    $100 or under ideally

    looking at:

    Federal SS 595
    Maxxis MA-Z4s
    Maxxis MA-Z1
    Federal Formoza FD2

    any other suggestions?

car will be parked as soon as the snow flies or the sand/salt starts going on the road. Live in New England so theres some rain, nothing like the PNW but enough that it can be a pain. Daily driven, never on the track. Car is lowered on H&R race with Koni adjustables
    1991 318is --- currently not road worthy
    1991 318i ---- 308K - retired

i second the neo gens gripy and a rilly controllable brake away. The reinforced inner shoulder blocks actually resist camber wear but thay rilly suck in the rain when thay get down to 4 to 5/32
