Wheel well liners with rolled fenders

Rolled fenders in the front - pretty much rolled flat -

With that said, how are people attaching the wheel well liners on the exterior fender edge? I have all the plastic nuts/screws holding it in, but it peeks below the wheel arch a tad and is driving me insane, how are people closing this gap?

I was going to take a torch to them and kind of bend it upwards more into the fender, but wanted to see anyone elses ideas/thoughts.

We usually run big wheels, so we dont run them. We just rip them out.
