New wheels HARTGE. paint what color?

Silver, or anthracite...........I saw one set of Hartge's in anthracite on a red M40 powered 318i and it looked really good.

I say do them in silver. they are not a common rim and when they are black you won't even be able to see them. you may as well be running black bottlecaps or something.

My vote goes to silver...i think it would look a lot better if you could acually see the rims so you could brag to everyone that you've got them and they don't.

i think both would look great on the car....black (along w/ shadowline trim) would make it look pretty slick....turning it back to silver w/ the centercap & hartge emblem would make it more classy looking.

btw, congrats on the wheels, matt (faste21 on BFC) seemed happy to see them go to another enthusiast

word to the mummy fukka ... as much as i love black, sorry, gay wheels, the hartge's are classic and should be kept that way. The black takes away from the wheel definition, and they just look like shadows.

Matt is the man. Wheels are going off to be refinished in silver. Thanks all for the comments but I must agree with the slight majority...I want to see the wheels.

Well after a concussion on Tuesday night from a bicycle accident "helmets rule" the wheels are not important to get finished especially after I went to the shop that was going to paint them. Boy they cant paint worth shit!! They will be painted silver but that is only after all 5 wheels are bead blasted and straightened as all 5 have bends.....dope that sucks. Such is life is it not? And with a broken left middle finger i cant even drive her. Take care all and when i get them finished ill post these suckers.
