Stock looking wheels for E30 convertible

I'm super frustrated that I can't find a decent H rated tire in the stock 14" size (or even close).

All the aftermarket wheels are not the look I want (aka stock).
Browsing ebay, I've come across the Avid.1 and ESM lines.
I believe both of those require spacers and/or hubcentric rings?
I don't want to slam the car, flare fenders or anything like that.

Is there a reasonably priced 15" or 16" wheel that looks like a basketweave or something stock-ish?

I haven't seen any currently-made basketweavy looking wheels on the market for a long time.

      Viable options are:

Used 15x7 ET24 Euroweaves. Also still available new from the BMW dealer.

Used 15x7 ET41 wheels from the 325ix, with hubcentric spacers and longer lug bolts.

Used Ronal ACT-LS 15x7 ET25. There are a few dealers that still have leftover new old stock inventory of new ones but they've been out of production for several years.

Also, there were a few versions of 15" BBS wheels that came on the MkII 16V Volkswagen GTi/Jetta (around 91-92) that are a direct fit on a non-ix E30 (same 57.1mm centerbore size, correct offset too). MkIII VW wheels however had a much deeper offset FWIW.

I'm going to get some bayern mesh 15 inch wheels soon, they're around $825 shipped with all seasons at discount Tire direct, have correct bore, offset and bolt pattern so for that price they go right on.

Thanks for the suggestions. Euroweaves are very hard to find, and new is out of the question. The Beyern are nice but again, double what I'd want to spend.

This is what I was looking at:

          $377 for set of 4.
          15x8
          Item specifics
          Condition: New Rim Material: Alloy
Rim Brand: AVID.1 Rim Width: 8
Rim Structure: One Piece Rim Diameter: 15
          Hub Bore: 73.1 Offset: 25
          Brand:
          Avid.1 AV-12
          Number of Bolts: 4
          Manufacturer Part Number:
          AAV121580410025731SMF
          Bolt Pattern: 4x100
          UPC:
          Does Not Apply

The AV-05 is the same price, 15x8, same bore of 73.1, but +20mm.

          Lastly, the ESM 002R:

          15x7 ET15 center bore 57.1

It looks like the ESM is the best out of the box fit, right? $135 a wheel direct from ESM.

As far as stock specs, I am finding conflicting info.

            Factory wheel specs:

            14" Bottlecaps: 14x6", ET35
            14" Basketweaves: 14x6.5", ET30
            15" Basketweaves: 15x7", ET41 (325iX)
            15" Basketweaves: 15x7” ET24
            32PSI

            From another source:
            Factory wheel specs:

            14" Bottlecaps: 14x6", ET33 (all non-iS non-iX cars, basically)
14" Basketweaves: 14x6.5", ET30 (all iS cars and some eS cars)
            15" Basketweaves (iX): 15x7", ET41 (all 325iX models)
            15" Basketweaves (Euro-only): 15x7" ET24 (option on European cars)

For tire sizing, RWD E30s used two different rolling diameters, 195/60/14 and 195/65/14. The larger 195/65 was used on plastic bumper cars, but that diameter will fit just fine on all models, and provide a more accurate speedometer (they all read quite high stock). Notice I say diameter, meaning that for all upgrade purposes compare the new tire size with 195/65/14. All of the 325iX models used 205/55/15 tires.

205-60-14 is the plus 0 setup

It occurred to me to email ESM and they got right back to me:
We only have the 15x7 Chrome in stock which is a direct fit for the BMW. You can also use the 15x8 which is also a direct fit. The 57.1 is hub centric for the BMW which is also stated on the website.

Check eBay, forums etc for euroweaves. German eBay is a good spot too.

Euroweaves are 15 inch stock BMW specs, wheels fit and look great.
I found some about 2 years ago pretty easily and they weren't that expensive. I found some guy in Germany selling them.

the door sticker on my diving board car suggests 195/65/14

Use this site to compare stock rolling diameter vs what you're planning. 205/55/15 fits best

Compare to 195/65/14x6.5 et30 for an iS basketweave

One more option. The STR 606:

Dual drilled which I don't love, but under $500/set.

I also found a set of "BBS RS" on ebay out of Malaysia. Cheap, seems decent quality but the front and rear widths are different. That's not my thing.

BBS rz 469 AKA e38 style 5. i know someone on CL selling a set for 190$. the are 5x120 so you'll need adapters or fill n drill. another member irone30 AKA edwin is offering a fill n drill service for great price. in my opinion best looking stock wheel.
