Just so you guys can see how they fit without fancy camber adjustments, and 225/45/16 tires:

VERY aggressive. Anything lower of an offset and it would be Mexican.

They look great! A little more lip would have been nice, but I am still excited for the 15x8's to show up.

Wow. I think I need to dial out some camber, my car is tucking these like bottlecaps up front :P

wait a second... is something wrong with my car? Why the heck do the wheels hit the strut? I'll just have to test them out on one of my other E30s

Eww, looks kind of like they stick out too far.

What's the strut clearance on the front with the 245's on 16x8's?

                Nonsense.... offset is everything.

                10mm spacer and camber, ASAP.

Hey, I'm ohnoes (obviously) from over at Bf.C. I am looking at purchasing one of the few remaining sets from this GB. Would you guys recommend them overall? Someone mentioned a problem with the centerbore. Is this something to consider? They look pretty good on a few of the pics provided thus far. I'm wondering how they'd look on my alpine white E30.

Also, what color was the GB actually in? I'm seeing a few "royal gunmetal" sets left on 18racing.com from presumably this GB, but I thought the GB was in flat black...

                  Thanks! ;)

Centerbore issues? I haven't heard of any.

This GB was done for flat black and gunmetal w/ polished lip

                      Oh, never mind.

So yeah, I talked to Jessica via AIM several hours ago, and she told me she has run out of gunmetal, which I was originally interested in. They'll be coming back in stock in several months. I was sorta disappointed to hear this, but she has a few flat back sets left. However, my E30 is alpineweiss, so my friend and I were thinking that maybe flat black is actually better for it anyway.

                      What do you guys think?

Also, what kind of rubber should I be running on these tires? 235/45/16's? I have been doing research, and I don't understand why tire manufs don't make any good 40-series tires for 16-inch wheels. Is the demand for performance 16" tires just not great enough? Someone, please enlighten me, as I would definitely prefer 40-series tires.

                      Thanks!

225/45 is the size you want.

                            Thanks xLibelle and Brew.

Could someone who got the gunmetal-colored rims please post a pic of 'em? I'm trying to decide which one looks better. I'm still not even decided that I'll get the Slipstreams for sure, as other people were also suggesting Kosei's and Team Dynamics, but Kosei's are rather hard to find in good condition--at least, I haven't had much luck recently. Plus, they are different looks.

I'm addicted to cheapo used race tires. 225/45 and 225/50 are super easy to find.
