    Stagger

I was at a tire Shop earlier and overheard an employee say if your car didn't come with staggered tires from the factory then you shouldn't do it because it'll ruin the handling. Is there any truth to this ? Because I was thinking about running a size bigger tire in the rear .

I doubt that going a little bit bigger in the rear is going to throw off the handling that much... if it is even a noticable difference. Granted, I'm no tire/alignment specialist. Is this for appearance, or are you trying to do something practical? Also when you say 'a size bigger' are you talking greater tread width, greater entire diameter (ie, a 15in iX wheel in back, 14 in front), or a bigger, beefier sidewall?... bigger in 'what way' is what I'm asking.

    I'm just trying to help

Wanted to do 205 in the front and 215 on the rear but can't find any in the size I'm looking for so it's looking like a no go. I'm not gonna do 205 up front and jump to 225s in the rear
