Anything over 215/45 is going to get harder to clear rear fenders if your offset is very low, car is low, and have a late model car.
You're going to start rubbing where the sidewall meets the contact patch, something that really possible to mend unless you really manipulate the fenders.

What would be an ideal tire/adapter combo for essentially the same wheel 16x9.5 et44 fenders rolled almost flat with slight pull in the rear?

I'm running 205/40r16 and 215/40r16 right now and moving to 45's in the next few months… So I say go on the 45's becoz i feel the 40's are just too low…

25mm combo in the rear will leave you room for a 215/45 on flat and slightly pulled fenders. Research though. Sounds like you Corvette wheels which is a popular setup on E30's with adapters.

I can't help you with the front because I don't know the positioning of the coils' collar adjuster which is a factor of 13mm on it's own sometimes.

No coils yet. Fronts are just IE3's with a 1 cut coil and e90 drop hats. They are rolled pretty much flat too. Would like to do a square tire setup. Got any thoughts on front adapter based on that? Oh and thanks alot man.
