Hubcentric just means that the bore on spacer is the same size as the hup so there is no slop. I can just measure the diameter of the step in the hub and make my spacers according. Would be made on a cnc just like the ones I would buy from somewhere.

Where is a good place to get the longer bolts. Anybody know how long I would need with 15mm spacers? Im going to try and make the spacers myself I work at a machine shop.

Be safe and get real hubcentric spacers from a reputable company, Mr. Jay above can help you in that department, I try to avoid spacers (for $$ reasons).

for good ole 205 wide tires on a 7" wide rim, et40 - 15mm spacer = 25 net offset should work fine. Sounds like a honda wheel. You'll spend a good chunk of change on 15mm spacers and longer wheel bolts.

look for a stamp or casting that say etxx with x's as numbers. The numbers are the offset. Sometimes that marking is on the back, the inner lip, inbetween lug bolt holes, etc. example et35 is offset 35

Question thought i would post here since its along the same lines.

Im looking at some Konig 16x7's they are kinda style 5 replicas i guess.

anyway they are 4x100 with a +35mm offset. Does this mean i'll need 10mm spacers? And will i need Longer bolts too? Er no?... thanks alot.

17" gives it extra clearance on the strut to run a slightly higher offset. BUT it seems like each e30 is unique, my 17x7 et33 didn't rub on my car but when I traded them to another e30 they rubbed without 5mm spacers.

You dont NEED spacers....I was running 17x7 et38 wheels with 225 tires. They fit fine. I just added 20mm spacers though and I would love to have another 5-10 mm's but Id never go with that thick of a spacer. Get em from turnermotorsports.com

There pricey and you'll have to buy longer studs, lugs, and centering rings. try em without spacers first and see if you like it. You prolly wont but you can get away with it. They just look like there sucked inside the fenders. The wheels in my sig are 17x7 et38 with no spacer. Im assuming the inch less of rim you have isnt gonna change things to much!

17's can have a higher offset than 16's. Also, your D2's have a lot of space for brakes, so it's not the same as the wheels that the thread starter is using.

With that said, they *might* fit, but will look like shit. 15mm spacers would bring them out nicely, and would leave you with ET23, which is about pefect.
