    People with borbet a's

I need to know the diameter of the centercaps for the 16 inch borbet type A. I have a set of 15x7's and tunershop does not offer flatcaps for the 15's. Hopefully they are the same width as the centercap for the 16's.

If anyone with type a's could measure the diameter of their centercaps that would be much appreciated.

    My caps have markings like

    15,16,17,18 on back.

Not sure which sizes are mentioned on cap, but I'll check that by tomorrow.

I can also take the measure for you.

As far as I remember 15" and 16" share the same cap (in my caps there are 4 different sizes mentioned, but can't remember which exactly).

How about early borbet type e caps ? I think they look superior compared to completely flat and those originals with the "nut".

EDIT: seem's like I've lost my caps :( the outer diameter of groove is very close to 160mm in 9*16

        129 shipped from tunershop.

I am looking to have the same caps as pictured. If I cannot get an authentic borbet cap for my 15's i will just make some flatcaps, but i would prefer the real deal.

I asked a german guy selling borbets on ebay about the cap size and he responded this to me.

        Hi,
        it's 64,3 mm
        Bye Markus

        I am confused.

I just measured my wheels and the centercap. They both measure right around 160. It looks like I am going to be calling Tunershop soon and getting some flatcaps.

Those wheels are Borbet a's with early Borbet "desing e" caps.

Borbet offers(offered) two very different rims with name "e"

                Early:

                Later:

As you can see the earlier on has center caps, while later doesn't

Tunershop said that they dont know if they get the flatcaps with borbet engraved or not, its just the luck of the draw. 50/50 chance.
