    Cheap 15" Spare Tire/Wheel Options

I will be putting euroweaves on my car this spring. Right now it has the original basketweaves and the spare is the same.

So, I will be in a situation of having 15" wheels on the car and the spare is 14". I was just wondering what everyone is using for a spare when switching to 15 inch wheels?

I was thinking of leaving the current spare and throwing a can of fix a flat into the trunk? Or, can I use the 14 inch wheel in pinch to get me off the road and to a safe place?

Just wondering what everyone has done and if there is a cheap option.

Dont put the 14" wheel if the overall tire diameter is different from the tire diameter of the 15" wheel on the back if you have an lsd. If the back flats take one of the fronts amd put it on the back and put the 14" on the front. Dont see an issue having a different size for a short drive/limp home

Thanks. I was actually able to pick up a cheap 5th euroweave ($75) with a worn tire already mounted that will work as a spare very well.

Unless you have a BBK, it shouldn't matter if your spare is 14" by the way. The wheel diameter is pretty much irrelevant. What matters, is tire diameter. There's plenty of overlapping tire setups for 15" and 14" wheels.

Tire size comparison the easy way. Use our tire size comparison calculator to compare diameter, width, sidewall, circumference and revolutions per mile.

Good you found a cheap spare though.
