Save able wheels?/worth it?

Saw these wheels on craigslist for a good price, but I was wondering if these wheels would actually be cleanable and save able. I wanted to bring them back to the original 'colors': the original bushed metal lip with the classic gray center(rather than the current brown color). I haven't had much experience with cleaning wheels and I thought that there are some wheel guys out there who might have experience with removing this old dirt and bringing back the shiny metal underneath it. Would it be a long process or is it much more simple than I'm making it out to be? This is probably a really stupid question, but I just wanted a second opinion on the wheels' condition.
