e30 touring rims

Hi. I have an e30 325i tourer and I'm looking at replacing the rims. Preferably just 15"s. Top of mind are, of course, BBS, Alpinas, and Hartges. Kind of hard to find though. Any ideas? Thanks!:)

Hi. I'm from Manila. Got it 2nd hand. It's got 16" Vega rims. They actually look good but I just want a 15"s; bad roads and all down here.:roll:

never heard of vegas. how much to ship to buffalo, ny 14222? lol. i like those wheels

i wish i had my bbs's in that pic still (sold em last fall) and i wish i were closer, i'd def be down for a trade

Vegas are old-school Italian rims (I think). Really rare. That's why I'm sorta having 2nd thoughts on selling them. lol

But function first. Got a good deal happening on a set of ACS Type 1s, but they're looking a little too modern at times. lol I'm looking around for options.

Solidly-made 16"s shouldn't give you much trouble even on the worst roads. I've been driving around in Beirut (some roads are absolute shite) for about a year on 16s, and I've run over holes that could've swallowed a wheel whole with no adverse affects.

So if you like your wheels, by all means I suggest you keep um. 17s are cause to worry, 16s (IMHO) aren't.

Anyway, thanks for the advice. Have you guys tried putting on nitrogen on your tires? A lot of people here are beginning to use them; they swear it improves the ride.

I think he meant he want smaller wheels so he has a larger sidewall (assuming he keeps the same tire circumference). This will provide additional cushioning over bumps as taller sidewalls flex more. I can't imagine that 1 inch would change much however.
