I'm looking at getting a set, anybody have any experience with these? I plan to run these as a 3 season tire, and keep a set of SO-3's for a summer tire.
Anybody running Goodyear F1 GS-D3 ???

I run them and I think they are pretty good. Good grip in the rain. All in all, they are good tires. Expensive but good92 Granite Silver Vert

Excellent in rain, great in dry, however they are one of the few UHP tires that will chunk when driven hard. That and the price are the deal breakers for me.Comment

Well, that seals it then...it's $153 a pop from Tirerack right now, and they would be a spring & fall tire - SO-3's for summer/track, and my Landcruiser when it gets below 40*.
Unless somebody gives Bridgestone RE750's a KILLER review this week, I'll pull the trigger on the Goodyears. I liked the RE-01's but they seem redundant when I have a set of SO-3's.
Wet traction in mild temps was my main concern - are these wearing pretty evenly for those of you who aren't chunking them from track use?
Roughly what kind of milage seems reasonable here? 30-ish K?
Or more importantly, how long have you had them (in terms of miles)?
It's not how you handle the good times, but the faith you keep in the bad that defines you.Comment
