    whats the typical time involved for having a set of steel wheels widened a few inches?

    You do not want to get new wheels? To make them wider I see people chop the lip and add more center hoop.

      If you can't do this by yourself it's not worth the money. Not that I would ever be caught with widend steelies on any of my cars...

        I have a few sets of wheels. I bought a set of steelies for 10 bux a few months back and havent done anything with them. I think widened steelies look great.

          i just read an article in Performance BMW, and heres a link of a company who specializes in widened steelies. hope this helps
