    Spoon sport wheels

Has anyone inquired about the Spoon Sport SW388 wheels? I know they are designed for a civic/integra, but the bolt pattern is the same (not sure on hub), and for 8.5lb 15" and 12.5lb 16", seems interesting. Just gathering thoughts....

        yeah, just cop some rota's

i had the spoon style wheels on my civic. 5 spoke design, like a 5 star, but no center cap, and they are usually flat black, to emulate the spoon wheels

I love the look of the rota slipstreams (fat 5 spoke) and grid (thinner 6 spoke).Usually pretty light too. The only problem is they don't come in very wide sizes.

either way the offset will be wrong. real spoons are fucking light as shit, but tehy are a race wheel, therefore built to be light and strong, not pretty.

Here is the link to the wheels. Yeah, they are not the best looking...BUT I'd rather have a halfway decent looking wheel that's ultra light and aids performance than a heavy-as-hell wheel that "blings."

Not when you consider hubcentric spacers (15mm, 56.1 -> 70 centerbore) and tires with it. I've seen them go for $450 shipped on Ebay though. And I'd rather have Rota Grids.

I think the replicas are also very light, but not as light as real ones.
