the thing is though, im not too big of a fan of the turbines, im thinking of either experimenting with painting them or straight out selling em for either stars or nothing at all.

looks like somebody is playing granturismo 4 on the PS2. IMO gt3 was better.

Trevor were did you get that diagram/page. I have a buddy at work who will not believe me that the covers are actually finctional, I explained to him the theory but he want factory proof. and thats it for sure, i mean with the illustration and all. can you provide the link or if you have the image larger that would be great

Another reason for these on E34 M5s is they have no brake ducts, AFAIK.

Not sure if the technology would be quite as effective on cars that have brake ducts up front. If you look at some of the touring cars back in the day you'll notice that several of the cars that used a similar 'Turbine' technology out back, instead of up front.

Functional - yes. Turbines pretty? -Not to me. I have a set and they didn't even come with the covers. Personally I won't mind if I find a set of stars, but I won't pay for a set of turbine covers. Just not my taste.

i think those look really bad on the 5. i kinda like them on the e30 though, like someone said, very time period correct.
