spacers for stock weaves

so i have stock weaves (14'') on my 318is and i noticed that the rear wheels are significantly farther in than the front wheels.
so i think i need 10 or 15mm spacers just for the rear to even it out.
will that work for my and my stock weaves?
is there anything else that i have to take into account?

that will work. you will need longer lug bolts or studs.

so do brands matter when it comes to spacers?
other than being 4x100 and of the appropriate thickness, should i be looking out for anything else?
