    Tire/wheel setup, Is this okay?

    Hey guys,
Just bought some new wheels/tires combo. Here is some stats about the wheels and tires. The one thing I want to avoid is rubbing but I really want these things to fill the wheel well nicely. I guess I can get my fenders rolled if need be.

    Wheels:
    17x7
    et40

So for all the things I want should I be using a 20mm spacer or will that not fill out the wheel well like I want? My car is going to be on H&R/billy sport if that makes a difference.

    Tires: 80% tread left
    Yokohama Parada Spec 2 tires
    205/40-17

Now I have never heard/read anything about Yokohama tires. Are they a good tire for DD? Also is this the optimum size to get the look I want?

This is going on the vert, I dont' need hardcore performance anything but would obviously like something alittle bit more grippy than the all seasons I have on now. Also I need them to be pretty good in rain.

I know these Tire/wheel threads are all over but I just want to make sure about my situation.

So, I would like not to fender roll but will if I have too, I guess its not that big of a deal. I would like it to have an aggresive looking stance but still with nice drivability. I want it too fill the wheel wells. So, Is this setup good for now?

    Thanks
    DJ

I know that the tire size you are using should be ok. I have 16" rims with et40 and 20mm spacers and I am ok.

Does it look nice, to the edge of wheel well?

Will there be a speedo read out difference?

use the miata calc to see, the 205 is a little undersized. Your speedo will look a little faster than actual speed. I have the same springs/shocks and 17's on my bronzit with 15mm spacers. 15mm with the 17 rim and a wider bigger tire at 215/40r17 with no issues. 20 mm spacer and they rubbed. All on unmodified arches.

It rubbed with a 20mm? So you are running 4 15mm spacers correct?

              You are correct.

The shots on the bottom of this post with the 17's (polished lips) are current with all the above specs and a 15 mm spacer.
