A few pics with new rims

Got my rims today, the tires are too short and I don't have the hubcentrics so I didn't roll it, so it sits a little high. Looks like Jay was right, it will only need 3mm spacers up front, none in the rear. I wanna put on 235 tires so I'll put 5mm all around.
Not bad for 320US shipped. :)

Re: price, just a guy wanting to unload them fast (sold his civic, got an s2k), I paypaled him the $ 2 mins after he posted the thread, in the meantime there were two dozen posts saying "more pics?" and "damn bro, I wish I had the money". Gotta be fast on the trigger to get these deals. :)

LOL yeah, they're off some sort of civic, so they have 205/40s. I plan to hit up 235/40s. I just wanted to test fit them, see if they looked as good as I hoped and how big a spacer I'd need.

Mike: no autocross. I was busy getting this on Saturday (from Van Island, and get it on the engine stand with me and one other guy... I could only lift it half a foot off the ground myself):

Yup, these are it. They're 17x7.5, ET45.

I think with the right car, yes. I dont think they would ever look good with schwarz. I dig them on yours though. I should hopefully get those spacers shipped out tomorrow. I feel like crap though. Hopefully I wont die. ;) j/k, sorta

I actually would be curious to see them on a black car but then I'm not a fan of plain color cars to begin with (or absense of color aka black). I think the first time I fell in love with white rims on a track car was watching Australian V8 series. Then I saw Randy's car and the red copy in my avatar. I was a bit worried that maybe Randy's rims looked good because the whole car was so outlandish. But now that I've seen these on my car, I honestly like it so much that I don't even want to touch the rest. I'll fix up the paint and what not but that's really all I feel like doing. It doesn't even have the little plastic lip upfront. I don't even want to tuck the bumpers. I really really love how my little diving board brick looks!!! I can continue the focus on making it insane under the skin. The suspension's done, the propulsion system is in progress, all it needs is some bigger brakes and it will be all I've dreamed of as a solo1 racer with a seriously understated ability.
