    Wheel stud size?

I can not use the stock wheel bolts with my new rims so I am going to put some studs in. I have seen one set for sale on BMP design but they are 5.75 a piece. What I want to know is what is the thread pitch and size of the stock bolts. And what have you guys done for studs and lugs? I don't want to keep with bolts as I had having to hold the wheel up and put a bolt in. I may get stainless as I can buy them at whole sale cost threw work and am sure it will be cheaper than 5 a stud. Any info would be great. I do know I want them to stick out, for the look and for if I run spacers later. I am going to go with like a 50mm length or so, maybe longer I will have to measure it out.

I am going to be running an 18mm spacer...should I get the 80mm studs? Will they hang out a bunch? I dont want too much over hang. Do you have a pic of your wheels with the studs?

Thanks for the Reply's, I checked out the site you gave and saw this

4-lug Wheel Stud Conversion Kit, M14x1.25 to 1/2" RH x60mm Long. Includes 3/4" drive (external) Chrome Lug Nuts.

So I am guessing that it means that the stock bolt is M14x1.25, not M12x1.5 They list more than one size so I am going to take a bolt out tonight and just take it to a store so that I know for sure exactly what mine are.

I did do a search before posting this topic as well as look threw other threads and did not find any information. I am sorry to make redundant threads. Thanks for the help that was give and thanks in advance for future help.

M12 X 1.5 threads. Lug Nuts are your choice of OEM black or chrome 17 mm hex

I see what you are saying. When you hit "order now" it takes you to some other page, like mine say Audi/VW. Here is the page you need...

Thats what one of the bullets says on the top of the first page.

Thanks I did see that page as well, but was unsure of what the differences are. I am still going to look to see if I can find somewhere that has the studs. I looked threw all our stuff here at work and everything is M12x1.75 that seems to be the standard. I will see what I can do.
