Best is to sell them and get wheels with the correct offset.
I would not recommend such a large spacer.

    Thanks,

I will have to think about the sale issue. I took a road trip to West-by God-Virginia to get them a few back. I should get points for just navigating the twisty roads there.

I do not race--well --not like the true racers do--this car. I basically just drive it. Would buying hub centric ( I believe that is the only way you can fit a BMW) make all that much trouble--at the 20mm sizing?

I have heard about extending the bearings/settings/excessive change of CG/ at too long a spacer. Is this the issue you take concern with?

Personally I would not run a spacer wider than 1/2"

Thanks for the info, your invaluable, time, expertise, and a frank position on safety and peace of mind.

I have had these wheels/tires for nearly three years; procrastinating to the utmost.:loco:

Everytime I actually go look at spacers or seek them on EBay, I always hold off because I am not sure that adding these will not make the ride undesirable. I even took them to the E30 meet in Columbus, this spring, to get a feel from the pros'.

They did not make the decision to get rid of them seem plausible;as all I heard from Bimmer owners there, was sell them to me! Not, I would never put them on my car,.....

But lately, under duress from the CINChouse, the woman in my everything, I have looked again to put them on.

        Thanks again,

I have some ammo to use to weigh the pros and cons,

It would look very ugly, and probably be difficult to mount.

For the ugly, having a sidewall that tall (albeit proper height for an E30) makes for weird looking stretching.

For the mounting, KDW2's have very stiff sidewalls. Not exactly stretching material.

Sounds like i wont be doing that. How will 225/50 15 fit on a 15X9 et 25 set of rs's?
I have bill sport shocks and h&r race springs

Well first off, 15x9 ET25 won't even mount an E30. That would require 20mm spacers just to clear the front struts. Once you're at that point, anything bigger than a 205 will require serious fender massaging/pulling.

I have 16x7.5 ET25 Hartge Classics, and 205/50/16's and they rub HARD.

What can I do for it to not rub?

If they rub on the inside, hubcentric spacers and rolling your fenders may help.

Sorry for the late replies guys, my internet at home is temporarily down.

An aggressive fender roll will be enough. There will be a LOAD of clearance to the shocks, no worries there.
