    Need some offset suggestions.

Thinking about picking up the Rota D2s in 17x8.5: http://rotawheels.com/d2.php

I'd like to run 235/40 Falken Azenis.

I'm thinking et25 will give me the best fitment in the rear, and I can add spacers up front to clear the struts, but I'd like to hear suggestions.

um et25 should be fine. i ran 235-40-17 with a 17x8 et 20. no rubbing on the strut up front and minimal rubbing in rear after rolling fenders. 235s on a 8.5 has a slight stretch so i think you should be ok. as you stated you will most likely need a spacer up front. probably only 5mm though

Heh, I came extremely close to buying those wheels last year. Make sure you see them in person first, from any angle but straight-on the spokes look a little retarded (IMO). They curve at a 90* angle back into the lip, which also makes cleaning impossible. There also isn't much "real" lip, the lower offset is achieved in the hub.

That said, yeah, ET25. They should just clear the strut housings.

I'm having second thoughts now anyways. Going to spend the money on getting the car bulletproof for the track and auto-x.
