i am swapping rims on my e-30 to these
and i also need new tyres as after 2 1/2 years the kumos ecsta asx's are getting pretty low on tread. right now the komho's are on a uni-lug big spoke/mesh enki with 10ish mm spacers. they only rub at full lock going up the driveway or hitting a dip. this is with unrolled fenders and it hits on the outer lip. the tyres are 205-55-16's. i am thinking of going to a 205-50-16 insted, there is only a little less than an inch of hight difference (24.9 vs. 24.1) the tread width seems to be the same for both. other than the slight difference in hight and the slight effect it may have on the rear end ratio and problems fitting these new rims? they are kosi/senica type 58's circa 1995 +44 offset and i have 5 so i can have a matching spare, and they are REALLY light. also the only other time i have seen them was on an e-30 back in 96 they stuck in my mind that long they looked so good on that car. i am going to prob run a 20mm spacer i test fitted them with the current tyres and the existing 10 mm spacer, they cleared by a hair any sidewall flex and rub city.
any problems????
