Well see this is where we are butting heads. I could give a fuck about "winning" this "arguement". That in itself is a childish notion.
I'm simply trying to tell you that rubbing in what someone has already been corrected on is childish and unnecessary. It happens far too often in this forum.
People naturally feel like they need to be right, I'm no exception to that. But as I have already said, I corrected myself...but that wasn't good enough for you.
Most people would have left the thread with their tails between their legs...find someone that can admit wrong and try to correct it, that's a good thing. I even went as far as adding the correction to my first post...still not good enough for you.
And yes, I can be a dick as well.Leave a comment:

I am short with people, and I am a dick sometimes. So what? If I came in calling you a dumbass or a ass licker etc, It would be warrented. But I didnt.
It was a light hearted semi sarcastic comment that I made. And it was directed at the thread, nobody in particular. Not my problem you got your panties in a bunch.
You can post after this so you have the last word and you feel like you won.
I however will no longer waste my time.Leave a comment:

Did you miss the "hello kettle part"? I have tried to take resposibility for my mystake, can you see yours?
Rubbing in what someone has already admitted wrong to is a childish thing to do. You got the reply you asked for.Leave a comment:

Wow, I am apalled at; your language; the fact that you don’t know when to quit; you are now name calling.
You have proved throughout this entire thread, that you have no damn clue what you are talking about and don’t know when to stop. You even go back and change your original post to not show your false statements and concerns. Which in turn, makes any debate there after, even more confusing.
If you actually read the thread, I bowed out and chose not to continue the "tech talk" that you were about to get schooled with. My above post was glad that you came to realize the fault in your thinking, and addressing a previous question in the thread. It was not "name calling" or insulting. None of my posts were as such. However you choose to take the one post I finalize with, the center if your frustration, and start in by calling me a "dumbfuck" and to "suck a cock." Not a wise move in my eyes especially to someone who is in your same town, has met you before (I believe), who was correct in the first place on the issue, and who not once insulted or name called.
You say you wont let this go? The fact that you were wrong, and you had a half dozen people telling you so? Doesn't make sense to me that you would continue making an ass of yourself, but to each his own.
Grow up, you have a PM, Bitch.

Maybe if you were following from page 2. I admitted I didn't know there were so few threads in the hub. And I wasn't the only one to make this thread continue on.
You "bowed out" yet you took a couple pot shots at me. Hardly bowing out.
Exactly what do you call this? Respect...lol.
Like I said in my reply back to you, you think I have to treat you good because you live in the same town as me and after you "...who not once insulted or name called."
I voiced my concern with the amount of threads that go into the hub. On page two I corrected myself. I was by far not the only one to make this thread go off the rails.
Then you go and call me a bitch after telling me to grow up. Very grown up of yourself there. Hello kettle.Leave a comment:

This could have ended but because you're a fucking child and like to try to rub it in, I wont let it go. Suck a cock.
I posted at the begining of page 2 about the thread length. If you could read.

Glad I didnt continue to bitch. The truth finally sunk in. 4 pages, and nothing was even wrong with the mans studs. :)
Just got a response. They are a lightweight, black lock. Pretty sick ones if you have the last issue of P. BMW. $80 shipped for a set.Leave a comment:

I told about the too long stud bases hitting the brake mechanisms, because I felt that somebody could get longer base studs because you claimed that the bases of the studs on first post were too short, and that would lead to major problems. And I do see it relevant.
In this picture you see an oem e30 rim bolt, the push dial in bottom is set to ~25-26mm which is quite near to an inch. As you can see the threaded section is less than inch.
In the second picture you see the e30 stock front hub(sorry, I had no separate rear hub on stock), with a bolt turned as deep as it will go(sorry I had no stud so you have to use your imagination), as the threaded section is less than inch as we figured on first picture, we'll understand that inch long section on stud would collide brakes(on rear of course).
And finaly a third picture, oem e30 front hub, oem e30 brake dics and oem e30 steelie bolted together with oem e30 bolt, same method as in real car. The bolt end doesn't come out from back of the hub.
This is my last post to this topic, I wish not to argue over this, and don't want to provoke anyone, I just wanted to state that those studs in first post are ok, while longer base studs are not. I hate all the missinfo spreading around net, specially on message boards I personaly use on daily bases.
It's not going to matter because I already admitted I didn't know how many threads were in the hub...more than once. It's already been corrected. Which was done at the begining of page two. No ones going to read all this bullshit to get this far.Leave a comment:

And you are challenging me on something I said that you don't understand. Because what you posted was pointless. And now we are argueing about that. Are we done.

That's more like it.
Ok, I started this fucking mess. Sorry, I should have gone out and looked at the threads first. I've added this to my "don't fucking do again list". I admitted wrong, can we be done.Leave a comment:

OK, I just installed my studs, and cross threaded them, so I pulled out my drill, cleaned out the threads, and JB welded them in. Time to autocross!!!!!Leave a comment:
