    17" Kosei K-1 + 235/40 RT615 mounted

Got the studs on today and mounted the rims. Thanks to E30 Groupie for the spacers, they're 15mm CNC from 57.1 to 73. The rims are ET45. The offset is now just perfect. God I love how this little brick looks. I want to add an iS lip but looking at it, I don't think that would be an improvement, I really like how it looks as is. Just freshen up the paint and be done with on the outside. I simply can't wait to finish the S52 swap.

Just a few quick shots, it's pouring rain out there and I gotta fix my fuel leak, finally figured it out. It actually sits lower than it seems, I took all the shots crouching:

Sweet!! How do you like the Falkens? They don't look very broken in yet :)

Looks good, I don't like the iS airdam either. If I were you I'd get the 325i/Cabrio early model front lip. It's subtle, and cleans up the front:

Suprised those tires don't hit the struts up front.
I would've probably gone with 20mm spacers, but if they fit, they fit. Any fender clearance issues?

I like them in that they look super cool. :) I only drove the car around the parking garage a bit. I don't want to drive it a lot until I fix the fuel leak. I finally found out what it is - the area around the fuel neck where the braided hose connects to a T that goes into the filler neck and into the top of the overflow tank is rotten. The T has turned into pure rust. I think I gotta find a new filler neck now to make it easier.

Cool! That's probably what I will end up doing, plus euro bumpers.

If you're surprised by that, you're gonna love this: they almost fit without ANY spacers! When I first got them I bolted them onto the car for some pics, they fit in the rear with like 1/8" clearance and the almost fit in the front. As in they fit, but the tire rubbed the strut. With 15mm spacers there's tons of room. They clear the fenders well too. They're close enough to look good but no issues. I've also got -4 camber in the front so that helps.

I am looking to run the same wheel/tire size. How wide are your wheels? Did this require you to roll the rear fenders?

            Thanks.

The wheels are 7.5", and no rolling. The camber in the front helps but I think you'd be fine with stock camber.

I love it when I'm right. Especially when the entire internet disagrees with me. :D

235 RT-615 must be badass. Even Jordan's old car with 245 T1-R's wouldn't have nearly the same lateral grip.

Yeah big time, it's almost freaky, you predicted what would happen to a tee.

Should be like fly paper :). I've driven on 205 RT-615, and was simply amazed. Either way, I'm going to need to figure out a way to fit 255's on the back once I start making the power I want to be making. Still a long ways away from that :(.

D, you gotta take some better pics when you get the car outside too. Early model cars with huge tires look awesome.

Tom, we'll get some manly tires back there once the project is done, no worries. I already know of some 17x8 and 17x8.5" wheels with the right offset, we just need a baseball bat...:D

i've always liked white wheels, esp on red. :D
that should be an awsome setup

looking pretty good...I think cleaning up the inside of your fenders with some shine or some flat black paint would clean up the overall look. Along with the misc. trim pieces and muffler.

the tire size is nice man!
