    Falken Hanabi 17x7.5

Just thought i would share. Bought Falken Hanabi wheels in 17x7.5 et 32 with rt615 215/40/17 mounted on them. 1010 tires said they wouldnt fit. They fit. Without spacers.

Will share pics when i get my camera back from work.

    Peace

Fit is not the problem... Rubbing is the problem.

Yeah, was gonna go this size on the rear, but common sense kicked in, still being able to rotate them is a plus. I wanted to be able to kick the rear end out at will to. under steer sucks!

As long as they don't rub the front strut housings, you're all good.

If you asked first, I could have told you that they would work fine.

And FWIW, the 17x9 ET20 will work all around without spacers too.

too bad those wheels dont looks all that great. now your car has an sr correct? why the hell are you worried about breaking a 17x9 with say a 235 on it loose. i can bust my 215s loose with a tired ass m20 and factory clutch no probs. those 17x9s would make that wheel worthy

With 17x9 and the Sr it would be shear murder on the cv joints and diff. I wanted to get some longevity out of the drivetrain. Also they are about 14 pounds heavier (tire and wheel) Didnt need the extra rotational mass to bog me down, or hinder braking with puny rear discs, as well as limit the performance of the rear suspension. I wanted this combination to WORK well not just look flashy poser style.

The fact someone says these wheels dont look that good is just fine by me, considering you've probly never seen one up close or on my car for that matter.

With how much tire? I need to run 245-255 R compounds.

Depending on section width, those should clear the struts. The fenders are a whole other ball game, they would be sticking out 1-2".
