I'm considering painting my wheels over winter, possibly anthracite or gunmetal. Given this crappy shot, what color would you paint these wheels.

When I bought the car, it had racing dynamic 5 stars, which were chrome and I hated them. Whe I found these, they were sold with a color of black pearl, which meant they painted the inside of the wheels black to darken the gloss on the fronts. I like the wheels, but can't stand the chrome look, even though they are not as shiny as they look in that photo. Anyway, I think they'd look pretty good anthracite or gunmetal, maybe with a matte finish.Driving is the only way to go faster....Comment

that crome looks like 80's but not so bad, i think you may paint your wheels like the WRC SUBARU IMPREZA its like a dark grey but isn't black and sometimes like a bit of blue, i had a 17" OZ not in my e30 just in my nissan and it has that color , its great i think...
