245s on an 8...... anybody got pics?/advice

    245s on an 8...... anybody got pics?/advice

    so im gonna be doing some top secret mods and want to go wider on my et0 8 inch wheels. i want to run 245s but i think they will be too wide for an 8. any advice?

    Here is M3 Ryan's Vert with 245s on 8in rotas. Looks alittle oversized if you ask me, I like the way 225s fit 8in rims.

      hmmmm....does look a bit big but i think with how much dish i have and how low it will be..i think i could pull it off...:???: what brand tires?

        Are they 245/45/16? If so then they are oversized. a lower profile might look ok.

          I think your offset is too low, your going to have some serious clearance issues, especially since there aren't any 245 width, 16" tires that are correctly sized for our cars. The ideal size would be 245/40, but no one makes it AFAIK.

              i do agree. but i want it as wide as i can without spacers. so i will be running flares..big flares...so no rubbing/clearance issues. i think even though they are a little over sized, i can pull it off with flares/slammed and the wheels im running.

                    On your car they may be too wide, but 245s will fit an 8 inch wheel easily if your tire guy weighs more than 120lbs
