How Important is a matching Centerbore and will this offset work for an E30

I would like to purchase these wheels for my 87 325is which is on Ground Control coilovers right now.

Ok so i've got to get these out of my garage.

    15x7 +38 enkei RF1 (4x100/4x114.3) with 195/50/15 Kumho Escta SPT's

i got the tires back in november and have put about 7k miles on them, but they do have some camber/toe wear, and are about 50% good on one side, or 95% good if you flip them to the other wheels.

The wheels are straight and balanced, but do have some curb rash, but they're like 5 or so years old so mehh.

From my understanding, this may or not be okay for the offset. But the centerbore is definitely bigger than the E30 centerbore. When I indicated to the seller that I think I need the proper rings to match the centerbore, he says that:

well i ran my car on the track with the wheels without using rings and it was just fine.

the only time you NEED the proper bore, is for oem wheels for other vehicles, as they were designed to be used with the proper bore, aftermarket wheels are designed to be lug centric and not hub centric.

as far as lugs go, you need small ones, the gorilla small diameter lugs are very good and very cheap, you can get them for around 30$ shipped for 20 of them and a key.
So will this be a problem to not having a matching centerbore but one that's bigger? What hubcentric spacer am I going to need or do I need any at all?

You need to stay hubcentric. Your wheels will vibrate with a CB that is too big. Get some hubcentric rings that will fit that wheel"s CB and you should be all set. The offset sounds about right, may need a spacer. I am not the best at the spacing issue.

Get some 10mm hubcentric spacers/rings to match enkei center bore and you will be golden.

Just buy any 15mm hubcentric spacer and longer bolts, and visit a local wheel/tire shop for the rings.

maybe you can ask him what the centerbore on those wheels are....it will say on the wheels somewhere most likely...then go here http://www.1010tires.com/hubrings.as...FRBGGAod1QSvJw and get some rings to match it up to our centerbore

                      Awesome thanks.

Unfortunately I just ordered a set of Falken Azenis RT615 in oEM weave size so I guess I'll skipo the wheels for now.

I need some help with mine. So I took my wheel over to Justins house and found out the new wheels centerbore is A LOT bigger than our 57.1. Justin even had a hub off the a car and it was big.

How do I find out what rings I need? What tool can do it? Where can I find this tool? I just want to know what to get, I want these things ON!!

If it helps they came of a Vdub

Just use a dial caliper and convert over to mm's .

Or you can call any big tire/wheel supplier and they should be able to tell you just by looking up the brand and style .

Discount Tire Direct helped me out with my Jap wheels and the aluminum hubcentric rings were like $12 for a set of four .

Thanks a lot for the info. Thats basically what Justin told me too.

They are RS limited but I really don't know what wheels they are. Time to explore!

Yea, they don't really even have a website and I definately can't find the wheels. I think this is why I gave up last time and started asking around

Forgot to add, there are seriously 3 different sizes in this wheel...at least thats what it looks like.
