    calypso 325i

i just got a 1990 325i and the color is calypso, and i was wondering what type of rims to get, want some wider ones, like a little deep dish.... however, i was wondering whats in style now? i want to make the car look clean, so i dont want the wierd rims, just some nice cleans ones,

if you guys have any advice, and some pictures to back it up that would be great. thanks...... i will post some picks up soon

Hope you already lowered your e30 especially since you are concerned with it not looking weird.

I like ssr's on calypso e30's, here is Killercalypso's old e30, hope he doesn't mind, one of my favorite e30's on here.

Or if you're a baller and can afford some bbs rs's.

id say maintenance first, then suspension, then wheels, in that exact order

the car pretty clean maintance wise, but i will double check that just to make sure..... i thing that i cant figure out, is why do the suspension first and then the wheels, if you do susp. then the wheels might not fit as nice, i thought it would be better to do wheels and do suspension right after that.... if someone could explain it for me..... excuse my inexperience

When you put aftermarket rims on a car with that is stock ride height it looks very goofy. A lowered car looks better with stock rim than a stock car with aftermarket rims.

if you buy big wheels, then drop the car.........you have the chance to fuck up the wheels. drop the car, then look at what you have to work with. it isn't about making it look good or not, it is seeing if what you want will WORK!

Or you can always do everything at the same time like I am doing with the 1991 black 325i that I just picked up. Wheels/tires are on the way, H & R race springs arrived yesterday, Koni F & R adjustables will be here middle of next week, momo champion st. wheel arrived today along with all new exterior lights. Perfect black sport interior sitting ready to go in along with M3 cluster and a perfect dash, also m-tech 1 euro rear spoiler to go on as well. Just a few more goodies to pick up then it goes in shop to have timing belt, a/c work and tune up done along with performance mods and new exhaust and headers and a manual transmission swap.

Any wheel/tire setup that works with a stock suspension and not aftermarket would look extremely goofy. Always do suspension first.
