15" Kosei K1 and offset question

I guess et27 is the proper offset for the e30, but I need to know if its possible to run et38 or et42 offsets staggered in the front and back?

I would like to run a set of Azenis with the K1's. Would 15mm or 20mm H&R spacers work or would I still have issues with rubbing? Fenders have not been rolled yet. Has anyone done this, is this offset a possibility??

edit - suspension is h&r sports with bilsteins

All depends on the width of the wheel, but unless its 6.5 or narrower, you wouldnt pull it off in those offsets without a spacer.

sorry for lack of information in previous post. the wheels are 15" by 7.5" with the azenis 205/50's

Im trying to figure out what size spacer and also if wheel studs would be necessary.

Run 15mm spacers all around, and put the ET38s in the back. You won't even need to roll the fenders.

          thanks fellas.

is it common for people to use spacers with their track wheels and take them off when putting street tires/wheels back on? would this be a hassle or pretty straightforward??

Get a stud kit and you'll be fine.

picked up the wheels yesterday with a very nice set of used (75%) azenis 205/50's on 15X7 (not 7.5 like i expected) Kosei K1's. wheels are just about flawless too, so Im stoked about the buy.

just out of curiosity i tried to mount one up, theyre definately sitting right on the strut housing with no space. so as stated before i'll be ordering spacers soon. still recommend the 15mm all the way around?

would it be safe to mount the spacers and wheels with the factory lugs? or are studs or atleast longer lugs the only way to go? i'll post some pics soon!

Yup, 15mm all the way. You will NEED longer lugs, or studs (I recommend studs, you'll thank me when I save you from lining up spacers and the wheels later).

Not to whore myself out too much, but if the centerbore is 73mm I have some spacers for sale- http://www.r3vlimited.com/board/showthread.php?t=86173

Sorry for the cheap ad in your thread, but maybe we can help each other out.......

Are those any different than H&R's 15mm spacers?? Pretty similar price wise.

H&R's are 57mm on both sides, these are 57mm bore for the car hub and 73mm on the wheel side. Many aftermarket wheels use a 73mm centerbore, that's why they make hubcentric rings. If your wheels are 73mm centerbore, you would need the H&R's and a set of rings to make them fit correctly. The spacers I have don't need the rings. These are great IF your centerbore is 73mm.

The price may be slightly negotiable. No lowballs, I have $215 invested in them, have never even had them on the car, and they're not too hard to store away.;)
