17x8.5 + 235/40 --- Stretch or No Stretch?

    Yes, that's the same issue I'm facing at the front. 215/40 is the correct size, but it will be stretched a good amount. I'd prefer not to have too much stretch. 225/45 is too tall. 225/40 is basically non-existent. 245/35 is too huge. 235/40 is really the best option, and not too much taller than stock. But, even for E30 M3's, as you mentioned, they are likely to rub at lock. I'm debating and debating - and was just hoping for some info when I posted this thread. Good luck!

      225/40 17's are what we all need. Damn the tire companies. lol
