They all sell lips, center caps, bolts, nuts etc etc BBS stuff, all isn't on ebay so just ask them what you need.

Some welding and drilling... Not the cleanest way but it works..

They are polished aluminium, i just picked suitable colour at paint-shop so no colour code available.

Are you running adapters? I noticed in your other pictures you have 4 lug suspension, but there is no RS in 17" that is 4x100.

It's quite a easy job to take them apart, putting them together is even easier.
I see no reason not to take them apart if painting them. It's lot easier to work with the wheels if they are in 3 pieces.

There's silicone-sealant between the 3 parts. Easiest way to put them together is to bolt them (remember loctite on the bolts) and then to put sealant to "big seam". Let it dry 24h and the another layer. 2-3 layers do fine. You'll know what i mean when you have the wheels on your hands.

I recommend using new bolts and nuts, at least nuts. What's the point in repainting the wheels and then using old, dirty bolts and nuts (you can't clean them very well, lot of little corners).

I built these wheels for my E30 cabrio last winter (8,5 + 10x17"):

Can the nut/bolts be reused if taken apart?

Yes and no. They have stretch tolerances they are essentially aircraft grade hardware. They can be checked for stretched.

I have a BBS RS002 dated 03.84 When i took it apart there was no gaskets or o-rings. Only thing that i saw was alot of silicone. And there was a tire on it that did hold air.
