    hub extenders

hub extenders seem like a very good idea when running spacers to keep the wheel centered on more than just the lugs. I'm running a 1/4" spacer in the front and 1/2" in the rear. I've located some hub extenders for the front but nothing for the rear.

Anyone have experience on this subject? Have you run big spacers with or without extenders?
    thanks

Yeah, they're the best solution for sure. FK makes them in 15/20/25/30/35mm widths.

I *think* the H&R spacers over 8mm have hub extensions built in.

Well, I guess it depends on what we all think hub extenders are (I can see the vagueness in his post now).

Hubcentric spacers: Simple discs with holes for bolts/studs and a hub lip for supporting wheel weights.

Hub extenders: Spacers that bolt to the stock hubs with their own (smaller) bolts, then the wheels bolts to them.

Check what TURNER has to offer. Those are only for 5 lug hubs. They don't exist for 4 lugs as far as I know. A customer of mine (Irvin) is making some for his own car though. They are a good idea for car with 6 to 8mm spacers, as those don't have hubcentric capability. 10mm H&R spacers and over have a small hub on which to center the wheel.

Brake harder. Go faster. No shit.
