/\Buy the wheels, these will work with a fender roll no problem,
very common size. Btw, wheel diameter has nothing to do with
the wheels being outside the fenders. My wheels on my old car were 16x9et15 and they sat in the fenders just fine, they didn't stick out an
absurd amount.
16" will look better than 15" in these widths without a doubt.
Search for qimis' white euro e30, he's slammed onbbs rs01 16x9.5's front and 16x10's rear.

Hahaha "decent" fender roll. Thats one of the most extreme cases of rolled fenders on any E30.
Good luck!Reminiscing...Comment

Nice 318is dude. Just do suspension first...I did tons of cosmetic stuff before I got wise and did coilovers.Reminiscing...Comment

Yeah but these are only 16x9.5's rear and with no spacers out back,
they'll be fine with a normal fender roll. I didn't have any rubbing issues
with 9's and fender roll.

That sentence contradicts itself.
Your wheels are sticking outside of the bodywork, there's no questioning that. I'm not saying they don't look good, but the fact is they ARE outside of the fenders. If a wheel has to run stretched tires in order to not rub, then it IS outside of the fender.
The RS' in question are even wider.

I worded it wrong. I'm not arguing that the wheels will not sit outside the fender or tha mine didn't because they did, not a rediculous amount but they did. I pushed my rears out to compensate for the fronts, the rears without the spacers looked tucked. That sentence contradicts itself.
