    Lug Studs

I am about to put some lugs studs on my e30, do I have to wait for the locktite to dry for a long time? I'll be putting them on with my friend at the dealership after hours so I can't wait for hours on end. Safe to drive it home 20-25 minutes?

    no time really.

run a tap on the hubs before installing the lugs.

It's just to clean off the threads so the lugnuts screw on properly and do not cross-thread.

you can also do it with pb blaster or any other metal cleaner/lubricant and one of your old lug bolts. Just be sure to sort of thread a rag in to get out any excess. And dont use the little hex tips to put them in if they have em. Use two lug nuts backed onto each other.

Use a tap, where as the idea above will work, the tap will cut the metal is there is a flaw and will by no means strip [unless your an idiot] the threads.

Just be absolutely sure you are using the correct tap.
