    14" Weave-----Spacers Question?

I have the stock 14" weaves and i like them. Im thinking of keeping them on for a little while till i search for the wheels that I want. I have a 1990 325is on H&R Race and Bilstein Sport Shocks. I want to put some spacers on them to make them stick out a little. Has anyone ever done this? I was thinking maybe 10mm spacers all around. Would I need to get longer lugs if I do this? Thanks in advance.

10mm would be about perfect. Yes, you would need longer bolts or just buy a stud kit, that's what I would do.

I had my spare on with a 15mm spacer on Monday and it looked pretty good, Im actually buying a set of stock weaves tomorrow to roll on while I rebuild my wheels. I had a really clean set that came on the car but had to give them up to get my current wheels. Definitely plan to leave the spacers on.

edit: I can get a picture up early next week when I put them on, stock vs. spacers.

Cool, were you running 15mm spacers all around? The front of wheels dont look like they need the spacers as much as the rear. I might just go with 15mm all around. I think im going to get the tuner lugs as well. Do you know what size lugs I should get? Can I get them at BMA? Please post pics when u get a chance.

yep 15mm all around, I just use the bolts that came with the spacers (H&R).

i have been contemplating 15mm spacers for a while. i have already equipped my car with smaller 195/60 tires. just got to get my hands on a good deal for the spacers and studs

u think 15mm spacers are too much? do they make H&R 10mm Hubcentric Spacers? cant really tell from their website.

iirc h&r 10mm spacers and bigger are all hubcentric. stock 14" basketweaves are 14x6.5 ET30 so 15mm spacers would put them at ET15. i think it would look perrrrrrrfect!
