    High Dollar wheels

ok guys, I'm in a bind here. Heres my situation. I just sold my keskins to a local buyer and I'm in the market for some nicer wheels. I have a budget of about $2500can with or without tires. I'm looking for something wide in the rear, about 10", I will be boosting in the new year with my e30. Now here is the problem, If i drop 2500 on a set of 4 lug wheels, sure I have nice wheels but I still have a 4 lug setup, now if i spend that money towards a 5 lug setup and some nice stock bmw 5 lug wheels. So lets hear your opinion on this. I've searched around for some nice wheels and have found some Brock B1's 17x10 and 17x8.5", some Borbet Type A's in the same size, but then i see rebuilt style 5's going for super cheap (~800). I dunno what to do now, I'm kinda torn, and now that my build is coming to an end, I can't roll on bottle caps haha.

so let me know what you think

Man, I really want to do a 5 lug swap w/ some stock 5style wheels. I think that would look dope on ur car, IMO. Dont know if i want to put that much $$ into the swap just to run stock wheels, but DAMN they do look perfect on an e30.

well if i had some style 5s they wouldnt end up being stock, theyd be polished with gold centers or something.

now im considering going back to 16x9 even with turbo.
      blahhhhhhhhhh
I've got a large budget for wheels, I dunno what to do now.

I know how you feel. I dont have a "large" budge for wheels but I can make a stretch. Im just hella indecisive. So for now im rolling on the 14" weaves, until i see the "Perfect" wheel. Dont know if there is such a thing, except for real BBS. But not willing to spend that much $$ right now. GL with your decision. I know whatever you choose will be great. Keep updated and post some pics when u do.

Well, to fit the Style 5's, you NEED M3 bits. You can't really use E36 parts since it leaves the offset so high.

Decent pads and rotors will do great on a 4 lug. There is no real excuse other than wheel selection to go 5 lug. Spend the wheel money on wheels, and not on 5 lug.

Well, Ive had some quotes for some RS, 16x9 around 3k canadian without tires, If I bought those they'd probably be the last set for this car, but I think i'll go with something different, I used to rock keskin kt4's on my car, really liked them , just got bored of em, not sure what i want next, post some pics of some 16x9 wheels, common or uncommon, I have about 5 months of searching to do.

I've even got quotes for a custom set of CCWs, a bit under 3k canadian also.
Looking for something different with some lip and wide enough to fit a beefy tire on in the rear. I'm still up in the air about going stretched again.

I've had my eye on these since the day they went up for sale.
If i bought these, they would be the last set of wheels for this car lol, because no one would have the funds to buy them after me.

Those are the ULTIMATE wheels. I really love those BBS for sale. I would get those in a heartbeat if I had the $$. I look around and try to post some pics of some 16X9s with a deep lip.

Jesus...thats a beautiful car. Minus the wheels, thats what I envision my e30 to look like in the future.
