Looking for pictures: e30s w/sportmax wheels

Just curious to see how these actually look on an e30. If you got any pictures post them up. Has anyone had any problems with quality as far as bending, denting?

I guess it depends on how much you like a downgrade from bottle caps really.....

I just bought a set of them but havent put them on because I dont have tuner lugs. I havent been able to find any truth to these rims being bad quality. The guy I got them off of used them for off roading and hardcore drifting. They look beat but they look solid.

          Status: HG repair. 488wtq though!

Im not feeling the bottlecaps, tires are worn so Im looking at new wheel options. I think the smortmax look decent. Im not a noob to wheels I have a set of bbs rs on my m3. I was just wondering if the build quality fits the price tag which Im assuming it does, and these are just some soft, cast wheels.

Are you saying you need longer lug bolts to fit these wheels?

Search for E-rich and Hon2bmw (spellings may be wrong). If you get them, make sure you get a new flame suit at the same time.

I really dont see why these wheels are getting so much hate.. A company is actually producing a line of good diameter, nice width, low offset wheels at a low price. What more could you ask for?

Edit: These wheels are the same quality and price as rotas/konigs, go to a track event and look at the cars that look to be there a lot and they will probably have rotas/konigs. Why? Cause their cheap to replace and easy to get.

personally I really don't give a shit what people think anyways, theres always someone that wants to throw in there 2 cent piece, fuck em. These wheels are cheap and good looking. All my spare money goes into the m3. If i was trying to spend money on the 325 I would find a set of rs.

Yeah the wheels do really look good, and cost nothing. I was thinking about getting a set because I wanted some cheap 15 inch wheels that I could get some meaty rubber on. But then I found a set of 15x8 Koseis that I couldnt pass up.

People just dont like them because they are "overdone" from some peoples standpoints. A lot of people are using them now ever since E-rich found that they fit alright because they are dirt cheap.

I am still concerned about strength, they can't be forged at that price. I have never owned a set of cast wheels so I was curious to hear from anyone who is using them. There are some narly roads out there...

You are right they are about the same as rotas both are cast wheels. I was looking into a set of rotas but they are like twice the price of the sportmax. If i ever do bend one I can always buy another set for spares.

fuck the haters and rock em. only reason i went to knew wheels is because i wanted 17s. if they made the 002s in a 17x8 or 9 with a zero offset you better believe i would have em. i am going to run another set of sportmaxx wheels later but they will be 15s with r comps....

i believe the 002's and the 501's are forged, the rest of them are cast. who cares if you see them "online" i personally have only seen one set of sportmaxx's being run around here. and they were 15's on a dumped, caged miata. it will cost a bit to get them to fit properly tho...

I don't have that much of a problem with them, it's just that it's very rare to see an E30 that actually pulls them off. The stance of the car has to be perfect, or they just look goofy as hell.
