Anyone know which would tire would have less tread noise? My choices are Falken fk452 or Toyo Proxes T1r. Size 215/40/17 fronts and 245/35/17 rear. Thanks for your help.

For noise, the test data I have shows the FK-452 as "Good" and the T1-R as "Very Good". They tied in overall scoring too.

I had Falken 452's on my 06 Volvo V50 AWD 6 speed. 205/50/17 size. VERY happy with them. Quiet, although not as quiet as the Squishelin's that were on the car new. My only complaint with them, is they went very very square after sitting for a day or 2. Took a few miles for them to warm up, and round out. After that, they were great.
I had the older 451's on a 633csi, and a 533i as well. Same complaint, but also pleased overall.
Just mounted a set of 452's(205/50/16) on a friend's 89 325i a couple months ago. He's very pleased as well.
