I was running 225/40/17 front and 255/40/17 rear BFG KDW's on my staggered DSII's. If you stick to about a 225/235 setup the understeer is not that bad but if you go all crazy like I did the understeer is huge. I finaly raised the rear a little to cause it to get light to make the car more neutral. This current setup is so flickable it is insane.

I was thinking on going 235/40 rear 215/40 front but I also have Koni top adjustables front and rear. So I could in theory I can soften the fronts and turn the rears up some or all the way. And if needed I could paly with tire pressures as well to battle understeer. The damn thing about it is there is not a great selection of tires available where you can have a matching set in 225 or 245's.

I think you can get mathing BFG KDW 2's but I would go with ES100's. They are garbage in bad weather but the steering response is amazing. If you of look at tire rack they have ES 100's on closeout.

Cool I will look into them. I was sorta planning the KDW2 as I had them on the wheels in my sig and liked them fairly well. Although I only put 500 miles on the wheels/tires before selling them off for 5 lug parts. I think I will go ahead as planned and if needed try to tune the understeer out with my suspension. With adjust ability I have I should be able to make it work.

Thanks for your input and I love the new wheels your going with.

Thanks and good luck. Hit me with a PM if you have a question about the DSII or setup. I would have run my DSII's forever if I had not stumbled upon these.

You are lucky they're not stamped. Otherwise you might have been up on blocks in the morning.
